What's good about the story - being slow-paced, it explores thoroughly the aspect of forming a growing society of warriors with the main protagonist as the leader. Considering that the story of 23 chapters so far is taking place only in the forest they were all born in which already seems like a huge limitless place, makes you feel the story has indefinite ways of developing, which is a pretty great perspective. Imagine a really cool premise, but an author that allows the protagonist to become ridiculously overpowered for no real reason. Imagine a manga without any threats or suspense. Imagine a manga where there was decent character buildup in the beginning, but during the later chapters it just turned into ramblings about "training" and completely one-sided battles. Main majority is too many character to explain with, but of course thats normal for a whole lead of Goblin army. And also since its a Mature manga,there`s no problem with violence, gore and probably might be a lot of hentai (i mean not really visual, but there`s a LOT in just 28 chapters.)

it frakked with your mind a bit, since there really wasnt much to go off of. and didnt expand on what it started with. it seemed that it started at an end of a story, and imediately went too a similar storyline. ever review since I wanted to explain my sadness at a possible amazing story with interesting ideas, especially since you don't often see ones from the monsters perspective, but after a short while its just a cycle of: and its not any other typical survival genre. there is an RPG-like element too it. aka kill and eat (survival) earn the reward of what the animal/thing had (still survival) but, where i think the RPG-like element is, within himself, or more specifically, his stomach. the MC (i probly should use his name... goblin rou) has the ability to digestanything he eats. and when he eats and digests, he learns abilities, crafting, and language, along with other variants. and with that, they can level up, and eventually evolve into... something better than a goblin. :P

It takes on a new way of narrating (which might not please everyone) that gives insight into the story as if you're actually reading the MC, Rou's diary. Due to that, it's quite repetitive at times, but that makes more sense than that something new and unique would happen each and every day! I mean, most novel include long time skips, because of that limit, but since this novel is meant to resemble a diary, there'll always be an entry, even if it's sometimes really short, or really ordinary.Personally, I cannot stand the slice of life since I find it boring as it tells you mundane daily experiences of the protagonist.
