This really helps see things from his point of view to help understand some things he struggles with too, and has already got me thinking about possible triggers he will have for GCSE exams and college interviews etc. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. It has given a possible explanation for many things I've wondered about, such as why I reacted a certain way as a child in certain situations, and also as an adult.

brilliant book that is going to help many people understand autism more and help children with autism know they are not alone with not enjoying certain things that others seem to. If I had been given this book as a teenager, I'd have discovered I am autistic a lot sooner and potentially saved a lot of stress and unhappiness. I am going to suggest my son now read it to try and make him realise he is not alone with his struggles. Every page is a part of this young man's life opened up before us that will resonate with every teenager who has Autism and help them to know that they are not alone. It is a well written personal account explaining the way this individual experiences the world and what he does to help himself.I found I could relate very strongly to a majority of the passages in the book, both in my life currently and from my childhood. I was 16 and wanted to help other kids like me to know they’re not alone and give them something to show their parents.
