The Making of “The Last Generation” (42 minutes) – As they’ve done with the other Paramount+ Trek seasons, this feature documents the making of the final season. Writers, producers, directors, and cast are interviewed. For many people, these little bits of “what might have been” are the main reason to collect a film or TV show on disc. There are five episodes that have deleted or extended scenes, found on the disc with the corresponding episode. Unlike in previous seasons, quite a few of the deleted scenes included on this release are extremely relevant and would have added to an already strong season — forcing you to wonder in some cases why they weren’t included in the final episode edits. Out of the 3 seasons i love S1 the most (It has a more thought out/better written story-line imo) with S3 as my 2nd favorite and S2 in 3rd place.

MANY thanks, Matt! I didn’t notice that and I appreciate the clarification. Blu-Ray quality is better of course but I like having DVDs that I can easily play on a computer or laptop. Thanks for the review i am looking forward to adding this to my ever growing Trek collection and for me S3 was good but the story-line i felt was not all that great.

This has been the cause of some discussion and speculation but we have the real story. Different Flybys The commentaries are lively and showcase the easy chemistry the cast and Terry have with each other. A Borg-heavy commentary featuring Ryan, Speleers, Frakes and Matalas, with Ryan “calling bullshit” on Speleers’ assimilation makeup — pointing out how he got off easy compared to her original make-up design as Seven of Nine.
