Compared to Fuji lenses, these are faster to AF, all silent in operation, smaller and just as good with IQ. At low ISO settings you can pull two or three stops of detail from the shadows when processing raw files, and while you’ll see higher levels of noise at any given ISO compared to its APS-C peers, I’d still be perfectly happy shooting at sensitivities as high as ISO 6400. I would completely agree with you on dynamic range, the em1 really shines in harsh daytime weather and the raw files are cake to work with really unbelievable compared to fuji files. As a matter of fact, I pulled a Minolta Hi-Matic F (a fixed lens rangefinder travel camera from the '80s) yeah I'm old)) off the shelf and they are roughly the same size with the EZ lens on the EM-10.Looking through that list, you'll see that the E-M10 is essentially an un-weather-sealed E-M5 but with a better rear screen and the ability to easily send images off to a smart device. It surprised me really as I was expecting it to be a little “laggy” seeing that it is a “mini”model that is cheaper. The E-M1 and Fuji X-T1 share that honor but the EVF in the E-M10 is good, just a but on the small side. As much as I want the cool features and compact size of the Olympus, after reading the full review, I am leaning towards upgrading to the Canon T5i. Macro is a full-frame L-mount lens that's designed to be a medium telephoto, portrait and macro lens all-in-one. I’ve had the Em5 for nearly 2 years and the EM1 for 4-5 months and I cant say I’ve noticed any shutter shock issues….

If you expect to be shooting bursts regularly, it’s worth getting a fast UHS-II type SD card: using one, I found I could rattle off at least 27 frames at top speed in raw and JPEG before the camera slowed down. i’m thinking about starting new with an interchangeable lens system in addition to my beloved fuji x100s. Add 3-axis in-body image stabilization that compensates for horizontal and vertical angular shifts (yaw/pitch) as well as camera shake along the optical axis (roll), and you have a camera that captures incredibly sharp images and video, yet is compact enough to bring just about anywhere. The em1 is so close in size now to my x pro, especially with the 12-40 that I went the smaller route. Rather than beating around the bush, we’ll get straight to the point: the OM-D E-M10 Mark IIIs is the OM-D E-M10 Mark III with a new silent shooting mode and a new ‘Instant Film’ art filter mode. LENSES – Again, Olympus and Panasonic are at the top of the mirrorless heap (next to Leica of course) when it comes to lenses for the Micro 4/3 system.It’s still pleasingly lightweight, meaning it pairs well with the best Micro Four Thirds lenses – remember that the E-M10 can use Olympus, OM System and Panasonic MFT lenses interchangeably, as it’s all the same lens mount.
