I made some cool synth tones and some atmospheric drive tones and that's where the memory mode comes in... The memory mode is now just a bank to store my personal tones, to be recalled when times come when I need them. Before, I am fond of the memory mode. But the more I tweak, the more I am loving the manual mode (just like a mini pedal board)... I'm starting to think that Boss ME-70 maybe the boss, but with its ease if use, I'm its master now...

on the other hand, the wah is used sparingly, especially because of the position of the pedal. And since I bought a cry baby I used most of the wah me 70. After use is quite fun is provided: We all front panel controls what is practical and fast! You turn it changes. the chorus is OK as most other modulation effects, one might wish for more settings in depth but the key is to allow the AC and not spend his life "tweaker" ... Line6 is for that!

it's been almost 15 years since I played and I have had dozens of multiFX whether the line6, vox, zoom, digitech, boss, tc electronic .. etc. ... the latest being the gt10 ... I specially'm not a fan of this small but boss ME70 is almost flawless in my opinion ... We can have fun with all available effects and discover her to refine her. And unlike zoom effects, we do not like playing with modeled effects, but with effects that sound "real" and with which we can play live. Screen control only a number: deserved the opportunity to return to the known text memos for example. I'm already used to play covers with my band and it is a very useful tool because it is easy to create the sound you search and memorize it.

I used it in front of a tube amp (contrary to what people think, it gives very good sound so well mastered), loop and the Return preamp. For my part I think the sound is better on a lamp that warms the thing pretty well. Simulations preamp EQ, amp, effects of all kinds (distortion, overdrive, chorus, phaser, flanger, comp, Defretter booster hum / single coil, delay of all kinds, reverb, tremolo, vibrato, harmonizer, octaver, wah wah , whammy, tuner) The ME-70 ups the ante on the ME-50 in a number of ways: adding a separate Preamp section, featuring Roland’s terrific sounding COSM amp modeling, four extra presets and one more footswitch—for a total of four. On the other hand, some things have fallen by the wayside; while the Distortion section now has a clean Boost and a setting called Natural, its names are now generic (Metal, Fuzz etc.) as opposed to referencing well-known sounds (Screamer, Muff, etc.)—legal issues, perhaps? Other sections reflect similar changes. Gone are the synth-like Square distortion, and the ring modulator, as well as some pan effects in the delay section, indicating a more conservative approach to effects. So much for those below! Good lot of stuff incomprehensible to say that it is provided; except that there is no loop, it could be useful. The abili ty to set up a seperate preamp or the compressor stompbox for a solo boost took some experimenting for me but once again the space savings of one less pedal is nice.the distortion: very little in the end compared to other MFX ... 10 ... but all well and used without problems (I do not know where does the previous review), even at high volume it sounds good . I am a follower of the Big Muff, I must say that the fuzz effect does not suit me at all, but this is personal!

Before anything else, I would like to remind other viewers that I'm gonna review this product according to my personal experience with it.The Expression pedal defaults to a volume control. It also offers toe-switch engaged settings for Wah, Voice (a voice-box sound), and octave up or down Whammy effects. In addition, you can choose to use it to control your modulation rate or delay wet/dry mix. Though you can tap the tempo of any delay setting, the dedicated Tap setting lets you choose between straight eighth notes and dotted eighths (for those U2/Edge effects). The 38 second Phrase Loop function is simple to use: just step on the Delay footswitch to ready recording, step again to record, once more to stop recording. Repeating the process allows you to overdub as many layers as you like. A double tap clears the palette and lets you start over.
