The remaining desserts were all pretty similar. The Lidl one wins top place simply because of its superior price. At 29p it tasted just like, if not better, than the original. First introduced to the world by the Bird’s company in 1967, Angel Delight debuted with a strawberries-and-cream flavor that immediately won hearts. Literally ready in five minutes. It's very flexible and can be dressed up in all sorts of ways (I don't care, but it can look unsightly dumped on a plate), and you can, e.g. make a biscuit base of crushed digestives, butter and syrup and put this over, rather like a cheesecake.
