Between those points and the video, that probably covers most of our first impressions on the adidas NitroCharge 1.0. It’s a rare and welcome occasion when a brand launch an all-new silo, so it’s with great pleasure we can finally reveal the adidas NitroCharge 1.0! As with the launch Nitrocharge, the Energy Pulse technology is incorporated and you’ll find the Kevlar mesh along the mid to heel of the boot. The real benefit, in my opinion, is the dampening provided by the rubber. In similar fashion to a suspension system, rubber actually soaks in energy and reduces the amount of vibration. What you get is a more smooth and comfortable ride without unnecessary movement. This is something I definitely noticed as the boots seem to really sit closer to your feet right through wear. Compared to other boots, there is a difference, even if it is very minimal. Category:Even if Adidas categorizes them as the “Engine”, I see them as a boot styled toward Control.

At just over a month old now, the adidas NitroCharge 1.0 has certainly made a big impression on professionals and amateurs alike. Featuring a redesigned and larger rubber Energysling, the Nitrocharge 1.0 FG delivers optimal stability and elasticity while the Energypulse outsole element enables higher energy output. The nitrocharge 2.0 is the down graded version of the 1.0 boot and is seen as a boot for the club or social level player. The unique ENERGYPULSE and hybridtouch technologies are absent in this boot but it does feature a TPU ENERGYSLING offering superb stability. The upper is an all-synthetic leather material featuring a super strong mesh layer concept in the rearfoot area providing great comfort and feel and it also has the TRAXION 2.0 stud configuration seen on all the nitrocharge ranges. Nitrocharge 3.0 In true Adidas form, these are consistent with the rest of their boots and very much true to size. The mesh are from the midfoot around the heel provides a sneaker like fit, where the upper has the ability to really form naturally around your foot. Because of the addition of the EnergySling, you get a slightly different fit through the forefoot, as the opening between the lacing and EnergySling creates a sort of wedge effect across your foot.This comparison image shows the change in positioning from the previous incarnation of the Nitrocharge. adidas currently have three boot ranges the ‘control’ range Predator, the ‘speed’ range F50 adiZero and the ‘heritage’ range adiPure 11Pro and the new ‘power’ nitrocharge boot will make it the German brand’s fourth when it will be released in June this year. The nitrocharge boot features a new ENERGYPULSE which is a high elastic forefoot element offering premium energy output when shooting and the ENERGYSLING is an elastic rubber sling which offers superb stability and elasticity. The upper used on the new model ispredominately the samefantastically soft mesh we saw on the first editions, however on this boot adidas have used even more of it.The Hybridtouch instep that was previously used in behind the EnergySling has been replaced with this lightweight mesh material with the three stripes now rising to the top of the boot. Hybridtouch has also been removed from the tongue which is nowentirelyconstructed from mesh. Weight wise, there’s no real difference between new and old,with both models tipping the scales at approx 235g.The aforementioned performance mesh and super-soft HybridTouch upper make for an easy, pain-free break-in period, whilst the SprintFrame traction is as solid as ever.
