Wool is not known to cause allergies and has natural disinfectant properties within its fibres. What’s more, recent developments now mean many wool products can be safely machine washed. Jute isn’t just great for your home, it’s good for the planet. Jute is 100% biodegradable, highly sustainable and renewable. Jute plants are naturally cropped three times a year and require zero fertilizers or pesticides so they’re especially kind to the planet. Jute plants also need very little water, which in an era of water conservation is fabulous news! Along with our pure wool picnic blankets, we also offer a beautiful selection of outdoor accessories from stylish hip flasks to festival survival kits.

Merino wool is an excellent choice for layering, with its temperature regulating, naturally insulating qualities able to keep you warm and dry no matter where your day takes you. Merino wool fibres will insulate you from the cold and keep you warm even if you’re damp or wet by drawing moisture away from the skin. Our festive farm open day takes place on Saturday 18th November 2023 from 10am until 5pm. So Cosy HQ is usually closed at the weekend, so the open event offers the chance to visit us and our neighbours (including the amazing and award-winning jeweller Harriet Kelsall) to get some Christmas shopping under your belt or find the cosy homewares and accessories to complete your look not just this season but every season to come. Jute will always try to revert to its natural state, so it is advisable to keep out of direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time to reduce fading. Produced to the highest quality with natural, ethically sourced pure wool, each of our picnic blankets comes with a fully waterproof underlayer, making it a perfect outdoor blanket.
