Product info: Japanese, SPF 50+ PA+++, free of alcohol, fragrance, essential oils, and niacinamide. Truly a milky texture. Combination sunscreen (meaning both mineral and chemical filters). Potential con: I've read some people anecdotally notice getting sun with this product. I haven't noticed this, but I honestly avoid the sun as much as possible. I'd love to hear from those who experience this! It'salso highly stableand non-irritating. So much sothat Zinc Oxide also counts as a skin protectant and anti-irritant. It's also often used to treat skin irritationssuch as diaper rash.The Mineral UV Filters formula is everything I imagined it would be, with a few surprises thrown in that seriously step up the formula’s obvious efficacy. For some reason, Rhoto avoided it and I’m thankful. The Skin Aqua Super Moisture Milk is a whole new level of awesome. I have never experienced a sunscreen like this one, having come across it about a year or so ago. The disadvantage of Titanium Dioxide is that it's not cosmetically elegant, meaning it's a white, "unspreadable" mess. Sunscreens containing Titanium Dioxideare often hard to spread on the skin and they leave a disturbing whitishtint. The cosmetic industry is, of course, really trying to solve this problemand the best solution so far is using nanoparticles. The itsy-bitsy Nano-sized particles improveboth spreadability and reduce the whitish tint a lot, but unfortunately, it also introduces new health concerns. So, here’s the thing: I love how Skin Aqua’s Super Moisture Milk feels on my skin. The finish is definitely the nicest I’ve encountered this year. I haven’t tested it in Summer conditions, though, so I can’t really say how good the waterproof claim is, and also haven’t worn it under prolonged sun exposure.

Milk-type sunscreen provides SPF 50+ PA++++ UV protection, and delivers hydration from four moisturizing ingredients (super hyaluronic acid. sodium hyaluronate, hydrolyzed collagen and lauroyl lysine). My experience with it: This is the best SPF I've ever tried! I've tried quite a few in my search of the perfect SPF, and nothing has been able to beat this. No white cast on me. I've never experienced pilling or any sort of irritation from it. It wears beautifully under makeup. Easy to blend as it is a truly milky texture. This is truly fragrance free - smells like nothing to me. Natural finish on me but I've read some people have a matte finish with it. I have used this since January of this year (2023). Shine: with the first application of the day on a clean dry face it was only minimally shiny--dewy almost; but with each re-application it became significantly more shiny (but IDGAF about being shiny in public, so that's irrelevant for me). I’d feel guilty and like a total hypocrite if I went outside for 20 minutes or longer without sunscreen. But while I’m hesitant to go out without any sun protection, I also don’t really want to apply a heavy, all-day sunscreen moisturizer either. I have always loved that the first thing Dr. Gross wants you to know about his superior mineral sunscreen formula is that it’s an anti-aging product. He says, it’s an “anti-aging sunscreen cream with a state-of-the-art antioxidant complex to help prevent damage from UVA/UVB rays, protect against photo-aging, and even skin’s texture and tone.”

MDSolarSciences powered up their non-comedogenic formula with three of the most potent antioxidant botanical extracts — Green Tea Extract, Cranberry Fruit Extract and Pomegranate Extract. That’s some serious antioxidant power! Perhaps the most intriguing of the formula’s ingredients is Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate — a stable oil-soluble form of Vitamin Cthat is similar in potency to L-Ascorbic Acid, the purest form of Vitamin C. In some countries in the South-East Asia region though the sunscreens will be under the Sunplay brand’s umbrella (the name will then be something like Sunplay Skin Aqua), while in other regions, Skin Aqua will be the brand. No biggie, you’ll think: different names, different brands, who cares? They help loosen up the dirt and grime from your skin and hair to allow for water to wash it away with ease.

The first main difference is that while TiO2 gives a nice broad spectrum protection, Zinc Oxide has an even nicerand even broader spectrum protection. It protects against UVB, UVA II, and UVA I almost uniformly, and is considered to be the broadestrange sunscreen available today.Here’s the thing that makes it next-level: Survival 30 is much more than a sunscreen. There are actually four Survival formulas — sunscreen-free Survival 0 and three with sun protection. At SkinCarisma, we've done our best to identify as many ingredients as possible but note the fungal-free label may not be 100% accurate due to the complexconditions and combination of ingredients that malezzeria can thrive on. As for the disadvantages, Zinc Oxide is also not cosmetically elegant. It leaves a disturbing whitish tint on the skin , although , according to a 2000research paper by Dr. Pinnell, it's slightlyless white than TiO2. Still, it's white and disturbing enough to use Zinc Oxide nanoparticles more and more often.
