Although it may seem expensive at first, one look at the competition will tell you that not many graphics tablets with displays cost this little to acquire. Battery-free pen PW517 is optimized with a highly-sensitive and stable pen nib to ensure a more lifelike drawing experience as you’re using a regular ball point pen. In the box you get an artists glove, a pen stand that contains 10 replacement nibs, a screen cleaning cloth, a power adaptor and the Battery-free PW517 Pen, alongside all the cables and guides to get you set up. I use it with both a Laptop (Dell XPS 15) and a Desktop (HP Z8) with no issues I just connect with a single usb-c to usb-c cable.

With that said, if you go look at my recent Wacom Intuos Pro 2017 review, you can see that the pen tilt on the Huion Kamvas Pro 13 is very competitive in smoothness to the pen tilt of the supposed “industry standard” tablet brand. It would be good if it did haven’t it’s own power supply, but then it would be a lot more expensive I imagine. A VERY remarkable improvement to make this device more portable and to keep a cleaner desk is the 3 to 1 cable-wire that gather in a single cable the HDMI, USB and power connections.

The full-laminated screen with an anti-glare screen protector ensures a comfortable visual experience. I have seen companies advertise 72% NTSC (roughly 100% sRGB) while failing to actually deliver that number, so I measured this while feeling skeptical. In case of any commercial infringement or dispute arising out of the use of materials provided by HUION platform by any third party in his/her works, all responsibilities shall be borne by such third party itself. Full-blown tabs like the iPad Pro or the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 could serve as great alternatives to the Huion tablet since they don't need to be plugged into a PC at all times.

The Wacom Cintiq 16 has integrated, foldable legs, while the Huion Kamvas Pro 16 has an optional stand (that can also lay flat when needed). I am extremely happy to announce that the firmware update has straightened the wobbly lines for my unit! It has an anti-glare finish, and as with other devices this can cause a slight grain (I noticed it particularly on white), but it’s fairly easy to ignore once you’re in the throes of artistry. You'll need a laptop or computer to use the Kamvas Pro 16, but it's one of the better display tablets on the market right now at this budget, ideal for students, hobbyists or even professionals.You can see the tiniest bit of wobble in all of the pen angles tested, however, it’s such a small amount of wobble that we can safely ignore it.
