Hard to fill.Pretty similar to Sawyer Squeeze, the bottle does not expand when underwater, so there’s not a lot of water going in when you push the bag underwater. Unless you can always find some source of water pouring downwards, you’ll freeze your hands like I did many times using it. The Vecto is a soft, 2 liters (68 oz), collapsible water container. The dual opening system allows for easy filling from a wide opening on one side and a narrow mouthpiece on the other. Use the Vecto for drinking or as part of a water filtration system with particular Sawyer and HydroBlu filters.

TheCnoc Vecto 28mm 2L Reservoir is a light, durable, and easy to handle water reservoir for outdoor adventures. It's easy to fill with just a couple of scoops, carry to a dry camp, or filter on the spot with a 28mm compatible filter. The Vesica is a collapsible, reusable and light water bottle that behaves like a hard bottle for easy drinking on the move. Simply carry 1L of water and stow away when empty.Pump: Pump filters are not as convenient as other filtering methods because they require manual pumping to move the dirty water through the filter. That said, pump filters are good for groups or filling up larger water containers. Usually, the hose inserts directly into the water, you manually pump the water to push it through the filter, and the clean water flows through the other tube into a new container. If you’re looking for a lightweight filter perfect for day hikes and other domestic travel applications, the Katadyn BeFree is a great option. If you are a long-distance trail runner, we favor this option because of the portable design. While the water container is small, the filter and bottle are easy to use. All you need to do is fill the water bottle, and then drink directly from the filter, which doubles as the mouth of the bottle. Alternatively, this can function as a squeeze filter to fill other water containers. The filter often requires you to squeeze the bags to get the water through. So the risk of accidentally popping one during filtration is quite high. Some leakage.Even though I have not found it myself, I have seen numerous reports of users complaining they did get some leakage when using the bags with the Sawyer Squeeze filter. This would increase the risk of getting the dirty water mixed with your filtered one.

After taking your new Vecto out of its very nice box that you can just recycle, the first thing to do is give it a good clean, inside and out, using dish soap and warm water. Gravity and squeeze filters may take a little longer, with gravity filters being the slowest. While they are slower, they are still very effective and one of the easiest to use overall. Gravity filters work well to filter a few gallons of water at a time, but it takes several minutes. The best way to use these is by filling them up at the start of a hiking break or while setting up camp. That way, the water is filtered and ready when you need it, but you can get other things done in the meantime. Maintenance and Cleaning

CNOC VECTO is made from sturdy rubber.While, like any bag, it’s not protected from sharp edges and cuts, the rubber is elastic and bouncy, which holds the squeeze pressure and is not as sensitive to impacts, like dropping on the ground.

When clean, let rest open over night with the slider holding the Vecto open. The plastic smell and taste should almost disappear after this first cleaning. The bags have a breaking point of 220 lbs but still have the potential to be punctured or damaged. Anyone who has ever used a collapsible container with a standard narrow opening knows how frustrating it is to fill. We wanted a product that would make it easy to fill a water bladder even in shallow streams. Ease of Filtration: How easy is it to filter the water through the system? How long does it take to filter the water? The flow rate of the filter can also be impacted by the filter size.
