I first received this perfume from an old love friend. By that I mean, a friend I've known forever who is a beautiful soul and always aims to please. She's a People Pleaser, that one. She knew/knows how much I adore perfumes, and bought me this...10 years ago? I first applied this fragrance to my skin whilst trying to kill time prior to meeting my friend for drinks at a bar in the city. I sprayed Selena Gomez Eau de Parfum quite liberally over my wrists and décolletage and immediately regretted doing so the minute the scent reached my nostrils. Selena Gomez presented her first fragrance last year, created based on suggestions by her fans. Together they chose the three main ingredients that would characterize her first fragrance called Selena Gomez Eau de Parfum. The notes selected for the first fragrance were top notes of raspberry, freesia flowers in the heart, while vanilla was dominant in the base. This year, Selena continues the fragrant story with her second perfume, VIVAMORE, that comes in the same bottle shape with a bouquet of pearly white and golden lips on the cap. The body of the glass bottle resembles an elegant evening dress, for this edition colored in an ice-white shade. I smell more of the berries than the pineapple. I think the coconut and vanilla evens up since I don't find any of them overbearing.

The composition of the new perfume Vivamore is based on a floral bouquet of elegant calla lily, refreshed with white tea and juicy melon, on a base of soft and sensual Tahitian vanilla subtly sweetened with caramelized sugar. The fragrance is described as foamy, intoxicating and extremely floral, created as the embodiment of the philosophy that we should live life and love more. Exoticism and elegance are reflected in the selected bouquet of calla lily flowers that perfectly fits this "white" edition. An invigorating feeling comes from juicy melon and tea, and a celebration of life and love is reflected in the embrace of vanilla and sweet sugary chords. Daisy 10th Anniversary Edition is an eau de toilette that was first released in 2017 and has signature notes of gardenia, grapefruit, and violet. Daisy 10th Anniversary Luxury Edition This one is really pretty. It's different. And considering Selena's age at the time as well as the age of her general fan base...i'm actually quite surprised (in a good way) that she released such a "zen" type of perfume such as this. Daisy Sorbet is an eau de toilette that was first released in 2015 and has signature notes of jasmine, passionfruit, and wisteria. Daisy Blush In my opinion...people are much too harsh on celebrity scents...and usually for all the wrong reasons. The top two being a lot of people are just fragrance snobs and write them off because they deem them as "cheap" or just overall bad before even giving them a proper and fair chance. And number two...being that people are judging the product based on the face endorsing and releasing the perfume.Daisy Shine Pink is an eau de toilette that was first released in 2016 and has signature notes of gardenia, grapefruit, and violet. Daisy Kiss It is a fragrance targeted at a young demographic and Marc Jacobs reflects this in the marketing as he casts up-and-coming models and those who have a carefree vibe to showcase the lightness and youth of the product. Time is funny because I don't hate this now. I may even like it. Which is bizarre because pineapple is generally a most torturous experience for me. As a fruit. On pizza (it's d*mn vile and you know it), and in perfume. Daisy Kiss is an eau de toilette that was first released in 2017 and has signature notes of apricot, peony, and rose. Daisy Pop Art Edition is an eau de parfum that was first released in 2010 and has signature notes of gardenia, grapefruit, and violet. Daisy Hot Pink Ay dios mio! Selena Selena, this stuff is nuclear- potent. Also cloying (almost got a head ache and that hasn't happended to me since the Opium and Halston era). Surprisingly, in the way young people usually describe bombastic style scents as "old lady perfumes" this rather fits that bill. I'm a little surprised it got past the marketed age focus group- no, a lot surprised.Daisy Shine Pink is an eau de toilette that was first released in 2016 and has signature notes of gardenia, grapefruit, and violet. Daisy Shine Red The more the scent developed, the more it smelt like chocolate scented soap. Such a strange combination of clean, sweet and fruity accords. Even though this scent horrifies me, I must admit that I'm impressed by its unique approach, especially for that of a celebrity endorsed product. Selena Gomez does have her own line of perfumes. The first ( Selena Gomez Eau de Parfum) being released in 2012 which was hugely popular among her fans. When I first spray this, I get a citrusy, cleaner type of smell, which I'm not particularly fond of and it unfortunately kind of reminds me of watermelon bathroom cleaner. However, this doesn't seem to last too long, and the fragrance goes into a more sweet, creamy, honeydew melon scent that I enjoy. This is what I smell the most and for the longest amount of time. After that, I can smell a tiny bit of the lily in there, and this part of the perfume reminds me of an aloe scent, a high end sunscreen, or a nice day at the beach. It kind of reminds me of a classy, elegant woman who just got home from the beach, put on some freshly washed clothes and is on her way to an expensive salon or spa. I like this part of the perfume the most. Freesia always smells rather soapy to me, but the fruit and chocolate keep this from going there. The drydown brings out the musk and the chocolate sinks further into the fruit, leaving behind musk and freesia with a raspberry, peach, and pineapple blend. It manages to be slightly sexy and somehow ladylike at the same time. There is a chocolate note listed but I cannot detect it at all. I am glad because I am not a fan of chocolate in my perfumes. In addition to raspberry, the composition’s opening includes a handful of fruits such as sweet orange, pineapple and peach. The heart consists of purple freesia, Cosmone musk and dewberry, while vanilla in the base is joined by sweet flavors of rich amber, chocolate and coconut. The composition is created with Givaudan perfumers.

Daisy Garland is an eau de toilette that was first released in 2010 and has signature notes of floral and violet. Daisy Pop Art Edition Most importantly, the juice is beautifully appealing. The scent primarily reminds me of the old Bath and Body Works Sun-Ripened Raspberry, an old favorite of mine - raspberries and a bit of ambery warmth - with a tropical twist. I definitely get juicy ripe raspberry and pineapple on top, a nice full jammy heart, and it dries to a sweet pleasant choco-vanilla musk.
