As a lifelong Manchester United supporter I felt compelled to read this book by United's most successful Manager of all time even though I've never read a sport biography or autobiography before. I was pleased to see that this book wasn't Managing My Life part II and for the most part only focused on the last 10 years of Sir Alex's career seeing as most of his life previous to that was covered in his first book. I enjoyed reading his thoughts about some of the main events in his Manchester United career over the past ten-twelve years or so and the inside stories he had on such influential people at the club such as Roy Keane and Cristiano Ronaldo. I bet him he wouldn’t get 15 league goals and I’m going to have to change my bet with him. If he gets to 15 I can change it and I am allowed to do that because I’m the manager. I’m going to make it 150 now!” (On Ronaldo) The Boss’s first autobiography was published in 2000 and chronicled his life up-till that famous treble winning year of 1999. The book opens up with Ferguson describing that famous year which saw him winning the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League as well as getting honoured with a knighthood by the Queen.
