With new characters and an entirely different side of Jolvix, this novel can be read as a standalone. There is a slight nod to Maxine for those of us who have read it and finding that little Easter Egg brought a smile to my face. Could the ending dialogue in the reconciliation scene have been better? Most certainly. Would an OVA help Gilbert's character more? Oh yes Was the movie a Perfect send off to one of the most beloved and incredible character ever? You decide after reading this...
