Warm v-shaped sound signature. Big, rumbly bass, musical warm mids, non-fatiguing treble. Decent technicalities for its price. The KBEAR Believe is a nice looking IEM with a robust build quality and average size that fits perfectly to my ears. The monitor shows a combination of 3 main parts, which are the main body, sound nozzle and the face plate. This list is meant to be used as a reference point. I highly recommend against blind-buying and suggest to have a listen to the IEMs yourself. By all means, use this to shortlist what you should try in the future but don’t take it as gospel. There's a slight lower treble boost, but this set is not sibilant and harsh in the upper treble. In fact it doesn't have that great treble extension and isn't an airy set. Trebleheads will probably not like this set. Mids: are slightly recessed in the lower Mids but forward a little in the upper midrange and lower treble IMO, vocals are warm and have some emotion to them.

I wanted to test how the midbass was and decided to use Joe's "I Wanna Know". That intro caught me off guard because that beat just had so much impact that I wasn't expecting it to have that much slam! This song also shows how well the vocals and the bass come together on this earphone and make it shine. The KBEAR Believe has a good soundstage expansion with a quite precise placement and separation of instrument & vocal placement. The soundstage performance of the Believe is pretty good in terms of wideness, while the depth is on a moderate level. Finishing the last paragraph, what the KS2 provides over the other three is a quality sound, that invites you to either listen while having that dram of single malt or raise the volume with some local lager. Either way, the KS2 provides a very good end listening platform with which to finish your day. Or start, sans the alcohol (please...). Either way, the KS2 does not bother me with fallacies that are enough to cause me to switch units. I happily listen for that short time frame or longer as needed, and after all; isn’t that the point? To listen? Table of Contents Introduction Over the years, I’ve had a bit of a… complicated relationship… with the 64 Audio N8. Customs tried will be specified as “custom”. A “Third party custom” is someone else’s customs that I forcefit into my ears. Any other use of the term “unit” will be universal. Mids: The mids of the KS2 definitely fall behind the bass but i think its still decent and is not bad. There is not much to say but it can definitely be improved. Source: A phone will do because it is very easy to be driven fully but a neutral or balanced source will greatly tighten and lessen a bass.When it comes to the Instrument presentation of the KBEAR Believe, I can say that is shows slightly warm and pretty musical tonality. Everything sounds quite natural, from guitars to the violins. Acoustic guitars are warmish, bassy and but still pretty clean in its presentation, while violins are slightly shiny and the bow tractions are fast and have a good level of extension. The nozzle of the earphone is also made of some kind of metal with a metal grill to prevent earwax from getting into the drivers. Treble are smooth it does have some sparkle but the lower treble seems to be a bit dull to be fair this is probably the weak point of the stellar but at this price this is probably negligible for the sound signature it gives.
