This was such a cute story and I loved the messages in this. They included trying to normalise people's differences, promoting that we all look different and that's a marvelous thing! Wow! I believe that David Williams is a great writer where he writes books that are funny, emotional, happy and sad. But with a message behind them all. By 'confused' I mean that readers may wonder if they are in fact reading Walliams, as well as being a little confused as the story progresses. This book is about a boy who has no friends and he likes going to the zoo but he can't afford it. So he makes the animals his friends. It was fiction. Blob the fish. Because David Walliams rote it. I would recommend this book to some Slime by David Walliams is a hilarious and slimetastically delightful book that follows young Ned as he encounters an alien named Hubble who grants him three wishes. There is a lot here that will puzzle and put off.
