I think I am going to be in the minority with this book when I say that I was very disappointed in it. I think I was being a bit snobby thinking this was going to be fine, but nothing amazing and while it wasn't the best book I've read this year, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and Allegra's journey. The incorporation of a lovely romance for Allegra adds a delightful dimension to the plot, enhancing the overall feel-good aspect of the story. This is a life affirming and inspiring story, a warm embrace, a hand to hold and the resounding chance to join the dots and journey to the stars.

The fact that she often questions her worth broke my heart, and the final scene when she is at the women in business event just made me an emotional mess.
