Although it wouldn't have benefited the plot much. The characters are shallow and kind of moody. Sometimes they are bemused and sometimes are so impetuous that their actions seem completely illogical at first. Author does give justification for some of them (like why Vivaan went away without saying anything) , but many remain to be explained (like why in first meeting Vivaan gives money to a character he barely knows)
