Fonctionne très facilement en Bluetooth (mais juste en 48 kHz...) en délivrant une puissance modeste mais plutôt correcte pour 20-25 M2. I guess the QA 3020i and 3030i would be a bit hard to drive, i assume the "airyness" gets lost when the amp tries to deliver peaks of over 40 watts? or is it just about the rms? On top of that, the unit seems to have a rather significant level of hiss when not playing anything. I'm using the optical input and the noise is the same regardless of whether or not the cable is even plugged in. I'm surprised they don't just stop the output amp when no data is coming in, since this is a class D amp and could theoretically not output any noise in that case.

A 20 year old amplifier is a totally different design from modern amplifiers that are Class-D. They have capacitors. One of the worlds most famous higher quality electrolytic capacitors state that all of their electrolytics have a lifespan of 10 years since the date of production. They break-down chemically over time. Hi... anyone else had the issue where it just starts playing static noise instead of whatever it is you're playing? considering that ... no idea ... their amp is rated for 73 watts, but my soundcard outputs some serious levels at max volume i think I'm building up a budget HiFi setup and I've spent a fair bit of effort trying to find the best budget integrated amps on the market right now. I was a complete noob one week ago and while this subreddit has been amazing, I'm still a bit lost in all the info. As far as I can tell, the main budget Chinese amps with competitive audiophile sound quality (for the price) are: Loxjie A30, Topping MX3, SMSL AD18, and SMSL SA300. I used analogies in the hopes that it might be a little bit easier to understand what steps to take.

Build, Connectivity, and Features​Loxjie D30 is an all-metal, neat-looking device. It’s definitely not one of those small DACs that can fit in your palm, but it isn’t a particularly chunky one either. With its 269 x 233 mm footprint, I’d simply call it decently sized, yet still desktop friendly. The soundstage is wide and spacious, with a somewhat modest depth. Instruments are well separated, and while D30 is not the absolute champion of pinpointing every single thing in the soundstage, you’re only going to notice it in comparison with slightly more expensive gear. Of course, 'best' sound quality will differ depending on the application and setup. Here is my usage scenario - any custom advice would be awesome but feel free to skip this:

In the selection are currently Nubox 313, QA 3020i/3030i, Wharfedale Diamond D320, and *maybe* teufel ultima 20 (though this probably has a terrible low end) Most people are other people.
