The FOV of the Oly FT 35mm is equal to 70mm lens in FF format - as you asked. For a wide angle, 35mm equal, you'll need an 17(,5)mm lens. It does not matter for which format the lens is made, just the focal lenght. Why not a 35 mm lens for some DSLR mount? Plenty of those around and you’ll likely pay less even if you opt for something optically excellent. I did a test of 20+ EF mount lenses with the Sigma MC-21 and Fotodiox Fusion adapters and all was not that rosy although both adapters did support all my Sigma EF mount lenses for S-AF and the Fusion adapter did support a wider range of Canon EF mount lenses. But neither came anywhere close to supporting the range of my own lenses that Metabones supported EF-M4/3. Nor is the Fusion adapter nearly as complete in actual compatibility S-AF as Commlite claims in its list. That sounds even more impossible. Are you sure you are not mixing up something here. For example, old FT lenses can be adapted to L mount since they have have a much bigger flange distance than L. Until we can get volunteers to prove this happy list is true then we simply have to accept it as simply “a list provided”. This reminds me of the happy days of the early EF-Sony E/FE adapters where companies (such as Commlite) made impressive long lists of the lenses these adapters supported in the knowledge that 80% of the lenses on the list would never be challenged as the lenses in question were not in wide circulation. MTF Services have released new RF-mount-converted versions of the popular Sirui 1.33x anamorphic lenses. Users of the RED Komodo and Canon C70 can now enjoy using the Sirui 35mm f1.8 and 50mm f1.8 anamorphic lenses to shoot stunning 2.4:1 cinemascope images.Ultra-fast focusing speed, AF auto focus, providing fast and accurate detection of the focus direction and target; Panasonic is better for non-Leica lens that the S series allow you to enter focal length for IBIS similar to the M43 method, that is not coupled with specific lens profile. If you are using lots on non-leica lenses with other focal lengths, Panasonic may be better. These are some existing adapters for an L-mount camera. There is also the electronic Sigma MC-21 adapter for Canon EF to L, but it's quite pricey. As is the electronic Leica M to L adapter. There are now smaller and lighter full frame options now for both camera bodies and lenses, so you can build a kit where the size and weight difference with m4/3 is not as great as it was. I also learnt from using the various m4/3 bodies that for me, a larger body has better ergonomics, which is pretty important to me.

This means that full 6K resolution of the sensor can be used to create anamorphic images. Oly FT-version 35mm macro (needs an adapter), This means zip. All electronic E mount adapter whether between EF-L or EF to any other mount will support manual focus (but not necessarily fly-by-wire focus), image stabilisation, perhaps EXIF, and aperture control. A list of those lenses that support good S-AF is more useful. Although Commlite claims that all these lenses do support S-AF until someone tests all of these lenses individually we will not know for sure.

Sorry to say this and please excuse -“rubbish”. Even photography goes through “fashions” and the big current fashion thing is now FF sensors where we might remember that once upon a time nothing could beat more megapixels. Yeah, leading up to confirmation of L-mount there was a discussion on this. Basically if Panasonic cared, there would be things they could perhaps do. First thing is at least make it so they are electronically compatible (a hybrid between the two systems). Panasonic obviously didn't bother.

If you need to adapt a lens, names like Wooden Camera, Duclos, Fotodiox, and Metabones come to mind. But if you're in the U.K., MTF Services probably shoots to the top. Also note that Sigma does offer a service to convert other-mount versions of their own lenses to L-Mount - presumably taking a lens that cannot be adapted to L - C-AF capable - and making the converted lens now C-AF in the process.

The SL version: it refers to the lenses dedicated to full frame. These lenses work perfectly on an APS-C camera (using the classic crop factor of x1.5), But, if you need a 35mm prime to fit to mFT body, there are plenty of options, also with AF. Oly FT-version 35mm macro (needs an adapter), plenty of EF-mount versions (also need an adapter), 50mm lenses with speedboosters, 35mm manual lenses, some native mFT, some others... Some very fast options. I chose it over the MC-21 for its supposed lower demand for supported lenses. It seems instantly that this is the main and defining difference between this two adapters. I hope so.
