The player is made from sustainable materials, from the stylish bamboo plinth to the recycled aluminum alloy platter. The back of the House of Marley Stir It Up Wireless turntable has RCA output jacks, a USB connector for ripping final and a switch that turns the phono preamp on or off when you’re using a wired connection.

The fabric cover is actually a bit annoying, since you cannot use it when a record is playing (it would flop all over it). Choose the cork side for a natural aesthetic, or the Zoetrope side for a pop of colour (and an unexpected animation that comes with it*). Some entry-level turntables skip the dust cover entirely, but House of Marley has tried to deliver dust protection with a custom cloth cover that’s reminiscent of the fabric grandmothers drape over furniture in their living rooms.I activated the included anti-skate and set it to the recommended level of 2, but it still kept happening. It’s got RCA outs and a built-in (defetable) phono preamp if you want to plug directly into powered speakers or a receiver that lacks a phono stage.
