First, begin the head-to-toe transformation with a surprise fashion reveal – will you find a rare or ultra-rare outfit? The toy's premise is to get children to 'fix' a doll's smudged makeup and get them ready for the day with quotes included in the packaging exclaiming: 'Nuh-uh, I can't be seen like this' and 'My cutie buns are botched and my make-up is a flop'. It's a pity these were short lived, this has to be one of the most unique doll lines I've ever seen you review- and you've never shied away from the oddballs!

I can understand the square eyes and square heads given the "boxy" theme, but did their smiles have to be so cold and lifeless? Brushing out the hair was unexpectedly therapeutic, and I didn't really mind that it slowed down my photo session.One limitation to the micro braids is that they can't be twisted into as many shapes as the loose hair. If you look extremely close you can just make out tiny dots but unlike Mattel's grainy as shit UV printing, this is actually GOOD stuff where it looks extremely professional even with your head centimeters from the doll's face. You could keep the different outfits and the hidden makeup, but the crunchy gel encrusted hair is not a gimmick that's particularly enjoyable and results in a product that needs work to get to look its best. Hand relaxed, middle and ring fingers together, pinkie and pointer separate, all fingers slightly bent. This paint job doesn't have the detailing that a BJD's mouth would, but it's smooth, shiny, glossy paint that looks very becoming.

I honestly think the whole face mask trick was pretty cool and I appreciate that it was reusable so the main "gimmick" of the toy wasn't just a one-time thing. As it is, it just becomes yet another piece of plastic that is likely to go straight to landfill which is a bit disappointing. Though the fact that the expression of the doll made her look disgusted, sad, even scary was a bad choice because again- that's the first thing a person will see- and they probably won't even know the "dirt/messed up makeup" faceplate is fake and can be removed. I know that the face the doll is wearing is supposed to have messed-up makeup, but when I saw her lips I thought she had a paint gaffe.My great-aunt wanted to find one to send me to, so I'd learn how to "stand and sit like a young lady.
