Frequencies The Multi-IQ technology combines the best technology in one machine, eliminating the need for 2 or three devices. The Vanquish 540 is like having multiple machines in one. Let me also mention that Vanquish 440 is the best when you need to detect small-sized targets, including small shots. Also, it detects small coins at quite sufficient depth (like Equinox).

The Vanquish 540 comes with a pinpoint mode to make zeroing in on a target easier and faster. It comes with 5 Search Modes: Coin, Relic, Jewelry, Custom, and All Metal. Noise cancelling can be done on 19 channels so if you are searching in highly mineralized areas, you can cut down the chatter most very low frequency (VLF) detectors emit. Iron bias adjustability ranges from Low to High, to better customize user preference. The Vanquish 540 has a pinpoint function and 5 search modes, including a custom setting giving you the freedom of choice.Despite being a single frequency VLF machine, the Simplex+ does a great job in areas with high mineralization and saltwater. The Simplex+ is easy to use, very user friendly, rugged, completely submersible, and a fantastic price for such a great product. The higher range frequencies help discover items such as platinum and gold while low-frequency detectors battle to find precious metals. Why Does The Vanquish 540 Use Multi-IQ? The company designed a new shaft for its new metal detectors product line, as it was done for Minelab Go-Find. Also, it’s not worth using old batteries and new ones together. The process of the battery charging and discharging should be done at least 5-10 times. In general, it is good for NiMh batteries when they get charged and discharge completely.

You should walk slowly and smoothly with Vanquish 440, just like with all Minelab metal detectors. Hold the search coil 1 inch above the ground, and each wave of the coil should cover 1/3 of the previous one. A nice bonus is that you don’t have to take extremely small steps or bend over (it is quite annoying).
