There is a very full cast of characters in this book- more than I am normally comfortable with, but the author balanced things quite well, and I’m thinking this book could be an anchor for subsequent installments, since Victoria has a few old friends who deserve a story of their own someday. This series is perfect for anyone looking for a light read, a cute summery romance and characters that you fall in love with and root for. Meet Me in Tahiti arrived and I promptly devoured it! I fell in love with Finn and Zoe. I didn’t want it to end. Having just finished the second in the series I was keen to dive straight in to this one! If you haven’t seen my review of Meet me in Hawaii, this series focuses on a group of four women who are very close friends, but spread out all over the world. It is Zoe’s turn to take the spotlight in this one. As with the other books, the timeline moves on but we get to find out a lot about the past of each woman as we go through.Overall, this a cute, sweet romance, easy to read, and yet another perfect, protective cocoon of distraction against all the distressing turmoil out there. After his mother died Finn left the village and nobody knew where he had gone. He worked hard in the travel industry, and eventually became very wealthy, creating luxury resorts around the world. He was married for a while, but it was more of a business arrangement between friends, each providing part of the equation that made a successful business. Rounded down from around 3.5 stars ⭐️ I absolutely love reading cheesy romance novels at this time of year and this one really fit the bill!

Toffolo also writes the character of Finn, as showing weaknesses, owning up to his mistakes and also being vulnerable, which is a twist to your usual male lead. But, I really enjoyed this role reversal and couldn't put the book down. The third romance novel from TV personality Georgia Toffolo (better known as Toff), following Meet Me in London, and Meet Me in Hawaii, sees travel writer Zoe having to deal with life-changing decisions, something she’s more than familiar with. After a car accident left her unable to walk, and having had her heart broken by bad boy Finn (with her wealthy, protective parents a constant presence), she’s now based in a luxury Tahitian resort for work. And then Finn reappears in unexpected circumstances, and Zoe has a whole lot of soul-searching on her hands. The Meet me in books are quite possibly my favourite series, I would love to have a friendship group like the Lost Hour Girls and I wouldn’t say no to going to Tahiti either! The romance is beautiful, because it is raw and real. I felt the love, care and lust, as much as I felt the pain, the hurting and the need to protect the other person. The slow-burn pace was also something I really enjoyed. I loved how car And of course the rest of the lost hours girls are present over the phone for Zoe too, so great to catch up with Malie and Victoria from the previous books and I am already looking forward to Lily's story next!I loved exploring the island with Zoe and watching things with Finn simmer, fizzle and boil. This is another fab addition to the series and I honestly didn’t want it to end! But because I knew how the story would play out, it didn't grip me in the same way that the first two books did. Still, it's a romance that I enjoyed reading which is a rarity for me, and it definitely adds a lot to the series as a whole so I only have positive things to say! Zoe is a travel writer, and travels all around the world writing her blog. Following a serious accident when she was younger, Zoe is now in a wheelchair, and her blog focuses on accessibility for disabled travellers. When we meet her here she is in Tahiti, filling in for a fellow blogger who was unable to take the job. It seems like just another job until Zoe meets a blast from the past who shakes things up a bit and makes her question her past and her present. Zoe Tayler is a fierce and strong-willed heroine. As being wheelchair-bound for the rest of her life, she is unable to do many things she wants and it’s so inspirational, for other people who are in the same situation as her, to read about how she doesn’t let fear take over, she is determined and her journey throughout this book was beautiful. Of course, she had flaws and she makes mistakes but Zoe is perfect in her own way, and she is a spectacular main character which we all need more in books. Whilst it is your standard love story, I think it’s the first I’ve read where the main character is disabled and I think it was handled really well throughout. It was mentioned, along with the difficulties she faced but I also loved how it really captured how she felt when people did things for her assuming she wasn’t capable of anything.
