The miniatures themselves are highly detailed and beautifully sculpted, with intricate armor and weaponry that reflect the religious zealotry and martial discipline of the Adepta Sororitas. Players can customize their units with different weapons and gear, allowing for a high degree of personalization and strategy. Chaos Space Marines are right at home on the claustrophobic corridors of a space hulk, and we’re not even convinced the Thousand Sons register much of the weirdness going on given the forces they tamper with. This Boarding Patrol pairs two Chaos Spawn with 20 Rubric Marines, bringing an impressive number of bodies and a pair of pskyers onto the board while the Spawn make a right mess of anything they encounter. A third of these units sit comfortably within the same price range – and so drive up the overall value of the box, price wise and miniature number wise. Boarding Patrol: Adepta Sororitas – PointsThese are sort of like small Combat Patrol boxes explicitly made to be fielded for the new Boarding Actions. So, expect them all to have a lot of foot sloggers. I’m honestly not sure what I’d change about this Boarding Patrol box – it seems pretty solid to me. But we might as well go into a little depth on what we get to provide a bit of context on what they can do on the tabletop. The game is played on a board representing a spaceship or space station, and the goal of the Adepta Sororitas is to eliminate the enemy forces and secure key objectives. The Adepta Sororitas units are a mix of heavily armored Sisters of Battle and powerful vehicles, each with their own unique abilities and equipment. From the deadly Celestians to the powerful Exorcist tank, each unit brings its own strengths and weaknesses to the battlefield. And then we have the highly versatile Battle Sisters Squad. You have a lot of weapon options, but read your datasheet carefully – there are caveats to having multi-meltas or heavy bolters, as you can only have 1 special or heavy weapon per 10 models in a unit. However, it is worth customising your squad to maximise their damage output – both far and close ranged. The Incensor cherub gains you a miracle dice – which gives the ability to perform one Act of Faith, which again is worth a read as their rules and abilities are legion. Boarding Patrol: Adepta Sororitas provides a balanced force of zealous warriors, ideally suited to crushing their foes in games of Warhammer 40,000 – especially in the dense and deadly Boarding Action missions detailed in the Arks of Omen series – and will save you money compared to buying the kits individually.

Lead your assault with a fearless Canoness, who can be armed with a variety of guns, blades, and relics to slay heretics, xenos, and traitors alike. An elite bodyguard of five Celestian Sacresants follow in her wake, carrying power weapons and heavy shields to sweep the corridors clean. Behind them follow ten armoured Battle Sisters, as well as squad of Repentia, fanatical fallen sisters driven to battle by a whip-wielding Repentia Superior. My first impression upon seeing this Boarding Patrol box is how well endowed it is with models. It’s a great selection for a Boarding Actions list for beginners and veterans alike – it has an eclectic mix of shooting and melee fighters that would work tremendously in the close quarters game mode. As the box is highly infantry based, it’s definitely going for a bit of a horde list there. Boarding Patrol: Adepta Sororitas – Value There’s the obvious call for Ahriman but there’s also Exalted Sorcerers or the Infernal Master to add. If you wanted to go big you could go for a Sorcerer in Terminator Armour or even a Daemon Prince. As for the next steps from there you have to figure out what sort of army you really want as you’re still at the bare-bones stage. Do you want to add some beef with the Scarab Occult Terminators? Maybe you want to toss in some Tzaangors for cheaper objective takers? More Rubric Marines is also a valid option. You’ve also got access to some of the might chaos daemon engines out there. And for the heavy hitters you’ve even got a Daemon Prince Primarch in Magnus to consider.The Adeptus Custodes are the Emperor’s finest. Golden demigods, they are His bodyguards and attendants, trained for centuries in the ancient art of walloping literally anything that gets in their way, tasked with missions too personal and dangerous even for the mighty Space Marines. This set is led by no less a personage than Captain-General Trajann Valoris, who is joined by three Allarus Custodians, and five Custodian Guards. Boarding Patrol: The Thousand Sons The contents of this box comes to a respectable 414 points, leaving you the option of either adding another cheap squad or unit to your boarding force to make the 500 point threshold or absolutely ramming what you’ve got with wargear upgrades. Both options are very viable and will leave you with a strong list to take to the battlefield.
