The fragrance is described as woody and spicy, but like almost all "blue-marked" fragrances it also has a distinct freshness component.

I bought this from Chemistwarehouse in Australia, I would find the trouble as all perfume from Chemistwarehouse having very "weak" performance. To me this is a masterpiece and brings me memories of my brother, who used to have some issey miyake's in the early 2000s.It can be overpowering depending on sprays but overall its a very smooth, manly scent with an edge to it.

Like a previous reviewer (Golcher) where I sprayed on my arms the fragrance didn't seem to last but I was getting wafts for many hours from either the back of my neck or my chest/t shirt. Very one-note, though, which I’ve never had a problem with, but if you are looking for something complex perhaps skip this one. It is absolutely a quality juice, I think it is as good as Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum and Guerlain Homme Intense, only different. After about an hour-plus the rosemary begins to settle-in very nicely with the rest of the composition.

Green/herbs with a slight peppery or mild-spice kick over a mineral or watery backdrop(calone is not listed as a note but it does feel like the perfumer added a small dose of calone or a similar chemical to create a slight watery feel in the background). I've been wearing it for a few hours trying to decide what I truly think about it and I can honestly say I'm not sure. Overall, this is a very nice smelling fragrance and is easy to wear for most all occasions and seasons. I like how this same fragrance works during hot summer days ( without Intense ) , it is uniqe scent and people reacton is always in good way . The melon note I pick up makes it feel a bit 90s, but the thoughtful blend with more contemporary notes makes it quite unique.

Its a rainy day, feeling solemn for no discernable reason, lost in a wet pine forest with no sunshine.Obviously though this frag is known for its dry down so after 10 mins it starts to smell much nicer. I was super excited to try this, as I'm a huge fan of the original Nuit d'Issey, but ultimately I was let down.

There is a spiciness that comes in heavy but quickly recedes and supports not dominates (which im thankful for) in the first hour of the scent. If you don't already have a cypress or herb-dominant scent or you don't care about redundancy - go ahead - pull the trigger! I don't recognize the impression with the herbal shower in any way, it is rather the lime with the mandarin which leaves a somewhat stinging impression. Tried two different batches and they smell completely different one was a mess and the other a piece of art. Cardamom makes dark vibe but still very pleasent + intense where is benzoin and you have combination that lasts 8 hours and it makes .On my skin it presents itself as a very bold and unexpected combination of citrus (mainly mandarin, and a bit of lime) and herbs (rosemary, lemongrass, juniper) over base notes of cedar, sandalwood, amber and musk.
