Very rarely, hypersensitivity including anaphylactic reaction (see sections 4.3 and 4.4) is possible (based on literature for chlorhexidine-containing products). Do not use Dermalo Bath Emollient after the expiry date shown on the bottle. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Eczema is an inflammatory skin condition that causes dry skin, itchiness, rashes, blistering, and skin infections. There are a number of different types of eczema. The product is available in a plastic bottle containing 500 ml. Hydromol Bath & Shower Emollient works in two ways. First, it replaces traditional soaps, shower gels and bubble baths, all of which contain detergents which can irritate dry or damaged skin. 5,6 It is a highly occlusive 3-in-1 emollient that can be used as an all-purpose emollient, bath additive and as an alternative to soap.

Complete Emollient Therapy, or CET, involves the frequent and liberal application of emollient moisturisers to the skin, and the replacement of wash products with emollient equivalents. Although the shower emollient has been specially formulated for use on dry or problem skin, in the unlikely event of a reaction, discontinue treatment. In addition, Hydromol Cream also leaves a fine layer of emollient on the skin that helps reduce transepidermal water loss, and keep irritants out. 2 When bathing, try to use warm, not hot, water and avoid staying in the bath for long periods. This could make dry skin conditions worse.Like all medicines, Dermalo Bath Emollient can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
