Hard As Stone was a story that can hold its own. Yes it is part of the Heart of Stone series. And Yes... We love Tristan and Nina... But we now have Ethan and Summer. They are the ultimate couple. I felt that this is the perfect opportunity to bring The Stones in a whole new light. Ethan gave me the butterflies and just made my heart melt into a puddle of goo.

Lots of emotions and drama as the story unfolds again and again over the series of books. I liked the main characters Stone and Eve as their relationship progresses and changes. Good, clean Christian fiction series-highly recommend! He also creeped Ella the hell out, especially when she caught him repeatedly staring at her the way he'd been doing all evening. She'd thought he left with the other guests. She'd thought she could relax. Okay, you guys, this is actually such a hard review to write without giving spoilers! So all I’m going to say is… this book was just as much of a rollercoaster as the rest of the series!! And when you got to the end… the rollercoaster ride was one hundred percent worth it!! This was the absolute perfect ending to the series & if you want to know more, you’re just going to have to read it for yourself!! Although this book is reminiscent of others currently on the market, the writing style makes it an altogether refreshing change. There is a developing story which made me warm to the main characters immediately and with their connection came a special story which underpinned the essence of the book. With people all around her, she could never predict what might happen, and the constant tension of holding on to her self-control made her head pound and her nerves fray. Being an antisocial hermit just made life easier.

This story was worth the read. I love that K.M. Scott decided to do the next generation of Stones. Hard As Stone is hot, romantic and you get to meet Tristan and Nina Stone once again! Ethan's story was a great way to start, and it would pique your interest about the two girls and would really want to make you read the next two books in the series! Told in dual pov which is my favourite and accentuates the narrative. Alexander Stone is a very domineering alfa male character & narrator Jeffrey Kafer did well portraying a clear cut, overpowering, & formidable dom. Lacy's voice was sweet, and innocent which portrayed Krystina perfectly. I LOVED but hated the ending of this book! I say I loved it because it was unexpected. I say I hated it because I wanted the characters to have a different ending than this one, but I'll take it! Honestly this last part of the story added a couple stars onto my rating. Not many authors can write a good, well written cliffhanger and the author did that. HEART OF STONE concludes this character's journey in trying to repair his future while somehow escaping danger for him and those he cares about. Full of suspense and action, as well as a touch of inspiration and romance. Fans of the series will definitely enjoy this final installment! Is everything all right out here? They were like my jam. I like sweet heroines who are soft in character (not weak doormats) and heroes who want to protect and provide for the heroine. I found both of these with Krystina and Alexander. I enjoyed that what Alex initially meant to be an occasional thing a few nights a week suddenly became a need to have her with him always. That right there…more jam. Carefully, she crossed to the far side of the terrace to perch at the feet of her favorite work of art in the museum's entire collection. Its familiarity and looming presence comforted her, made it possible for her to think and be and regain her balance.
