Having not translations of any kind past chapter six but realizing the lack of quality of this work, I attempted to read the original scans and dear Lord, the Anime Man of the YouTube planes disappointed me for the last time with this terrible recommendation (of sorts).

However if you can tolerate graphic violence as well as the serious subject matter then it's a pretty decent read. I enjoys the main character's portrayal, noting that their weaknesses and occasional moments of stupidity help move the story forward without giving away any spoilers. Although the chapter numbers are longer than other horror survival manga, the author manages to describe each participant's background, which enriches the story's developments. As other reviews already mention, this is not for the faint of heart and those who've had terrible and traumatic experiences but for those willing to barrel through those anyway, it really picks up at about chapter 20 onwards and I think at this point, you'll start forgetting the gore and focus more on the plot.Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. One of the “contestants” is conveniently aware of what is happening and informs the rest about a practice named Dokumushi. They discover there is no food to be found the water and electricity still works, and there’s a timer for 168 hours or seven days. Satsuki, a boy high school boy and his childhood friend are riding in an underground train until it suddenly stops. But at the end of the day, it's another battle royale type of thing so, yeah, you know what to expect.

I've just heard about dokumushi (putting deadly insects in a jar to see which one survives) from this manga and it sounds pretty sick so I was interested. Do you like helping others find a manga they’re looking for or do you simply enjoy telling others about manga? point where its comical but you can't reasonably expect all the characters to be like those in a shonen or romance/shoujo/josei manga where all the MC are perfect and you just have about 100 chapters of circling around the plot instead of developing it.This manga isn't redefining the wheel when it comes to horror and suspense, but it takes a basic 'Saw'-esque setting and really runs with it. It HAS some redeeming qualities (the MC not being as pathetic), but at the end of the day, I just did not like this series.

On the bad side we have stupid characters making stupid decisions, and a cast of awful people to hate (although some of them more than others). my personal recommendation skip this at least until it gets fully translated and check out Elfen lied and Another they are much better or experiences and are worth your time.

I came across Dokumushi and thought it had a pretty good concept, so I decided to read it and thank god this shit isn’t so long because I didn’t waste too much time. Many taboo things happen that may turn people away but in reality it's not much more gruesome than what you would see in any slasher films. The art is OK, the characterization non existent, and most character archetypes used in just about the laziest possible damn way. They do more than the protagonist, but that’s not much of an achievement when he does nothing, and really there’s nothing down here that isn’t done better elsewhere. This accomplishment, as shallow as it may be, gave the manga enough popularity to spawn a live action adaptation in 2016 and a still ongoing sequel named Dokumushi: Ruins Hotel in 2018.

Honestly I am completely fine with that because sometimes less is more and honestly I’m happy I don’t get to see all this shit in Berserk levels of detail. Some characters are upfront nasty, but others are more cunning, and they are able to trick us into being on their side. Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU is a 2-volume psychological horror manga, written by Ryukishi07/7th Expansion and illustrated by Tomato Akase.whole countdown which gives us a cool sense of progression, I liked the character backstories that fit in with and make sense of their ridiculous personalities, I liked the different interactions, relationships and betrayals developed between the characters, I liked how the plot progressed, I liked the artstyle from how realistic the backgrounds are to how expressive the characters could be when overwhelmed by emotions, I liked the whole poisonous insect folklore thing. I have to say having backstories for all of them was a nice touch, and made their behavior more understandable (except for the main character, fuck that guy).
