Adam Kent: A soldier in the army, 18 years old; he is in charge of Juliette after she is brought out of isolation. He is known as an average man with blue eyes, tattoos, around 6'1", and dark brown hair. He is shown to be in love with Juliette since they first saw/met each other, as children. He can touch Juliette by using his powers but it is extremely draining and sometimes painful for him.

The mutants at Omega Point use their powers to prevent being slaughtered by Reestablishment soldiers. A woman throws projectiles from a tree with speed and precision. Castle creates a cyclone of sharp debris that he sets loose on the soldiers, impaling them with glass, stone and metal. Juliette again hits the ground with her fist and creates a tremor in the ground that causes the soldiers to lose their footing and become disorientated. Castle is a thirty-year-old scientist with telekinetic powers. He is portrayed as a wise, fair and compassionate person. He is highly knowledgeable and is the first one who accepts Juliette as she joins the Rebellion, although he keeps many secrets about her true identity from her. Omega Point: A place for people coming together to rise up against The Reestablishment. Many have special abilities.

At the meeting house, Juliette enters and speaks to Warner’s father. He is merciless even with his own son. He criticises Warner for letting her get the better of him. He tells Juliette that Warner begged his father not to kill her. The Supreme Commander tells her his name is Anderson and that Warner refused to use it. Warner is his mother’s last name. His first name is Aaron. This allows you to see what Warner is thinking since Shatter Me is told from Juliette’s point of view. It also serves as an interlude between novels since the events of Destroy Me take place after Shatter Me but before Unravel Me. Matters have only become more complicated as Ella learns who Juliette is and about her creation. She is struggling to understand the past while the future looks more uncertain than ever. The lines between Ella and Juliette, and between right and wrong, are blurring.
