The story is set in WW2, February 1941, about a young girl named Olive and her brother(Cliff) whose big sister gets lost and are evacuated to Devonshire to live in a light house on Devon's edge with a mysterious lighthouse keeper. This character goes on to feature in three different quests, one of which poses a moral issue where players must decide what to do. Olive and her brother have been evacuated to Devon, but her older sister Sukie is still missing from the night of the bombs. Olive also shows substantial resilience and determination throughout the book, making her a wonderful, relatable role model for children.
