Terrible Terrors are most effective as distance flyers, not sprinters. Due to their small size they simply can't displace that much air and as such can only move at 20-40 mph. What is impressive however is their endurance. They will fly for nearly 100 miles uninterrupted. This distance capability is what makes them so viable as long distance communicators. On the ground they again have shorter than average legs and shorter than average strides. They are excellent climbers though and will scale trees and cliffs very easily.
