i put it on before going in to bed and when i wake up i can smell it like i just sprayed it on me just now. Privee Couture Collection Rose Musk Eau de Parfum is especially great for women who love floral fragrances with the sensual aroma of musk. The last (so far) of the Ameers, Ameer Al Oud Intense oud isn't that smokey, this note is very tamed and pleasant. I like to spray this on the back of my hands and the tops of my knees so I can smell wafts of it throughout the day. Edit 3: 3 hours after spraying now, and the woods and spices have all but disappeared, leaving me with still about a foot and a half of projection, purely smelling like burnt sugar now.

Yes, the opening is a little sharp, but a handful of seconds later it has already tamed into a sweet, spicy wood.I love this fragrance it is very Smokey that is the strongest note, at first the sweetness is intense but it dries down less sweet more leathery and yes powdery but like confectioners sugar not beauty powder or makeup. The only issue would be is it is not a mass-appealing perfume, wearing this in the mall got me some weird frowns and my mates mentioning the stench that I am carrying. Definitely carries in the winter breeze, I can smell the fragrance flare up whenever I am hit with a cool breeze. Sits roughly in the territory of the plastic/vinyl note I get from Kenzo pour homme, where as the Kenzo is like a cheap pool inflatable, the Ameer almost reminds me of a softer whiff of diethyl ether perhaps. The fixatives this fragrance is using for longevity and projection are fascinating because they don't smell cheap at all and they never quit.

Instant crush kinda smells like BR540 but more sharp/woody and personally I don’t like that fragrance at all. As said earlier, my fragrance isn't as it should be yet, but being reintroduced to half its pyramid did jiggle my olfactory memory. It combines aromatic, resinous juniper, rich, smoky leather and herbal green mate for an intriguing, heady yet fresh result.

Mystères du Château de Dé, If you have troubles having any fragrance last on fabric, then you must use some messed up product to wash your fabrics in. I've tried it with Lost Cherry and while it makes for a very interesting concoction the TF just hasn't got the performance for it.

I don't feel too sweet or intense, on my skin doesn't radiate too much after 15 minutes and lasting is about 3-4 hours, but can be suffocate the oud. Stronger with You" though, I know, and AAOIO does have some similarites with that one; mainly the sweet and smoky accord that might be likened to roasted nuts, just that in AAOIO the smokiness is more forward and of course there is also the oud! Anyway, Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud smells to me not similar, but reminds me of the best aspects of my two favorite Lattafa fragrances: Qaa'ed and Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends. As time continues to pass, the labdanum and woody notes become more noticeable, so there's a hint of incense. It opens kinda sharp with the oud note but i like it then dries into a nice burnt marshmallow with a touch of woods and oud.

I thought that I would have to layer it with a vanilla perfume, but I think the vanilla in Ameer Al Oudh is strong enough on its own. I have to commend Lattafa for pulling off their own interpretation of By the Fireplace, which smells so unique, you'd think it would be impossible for another fragrance to smell similar. It's not linear like By the Fireplace, which lacks a certain aromatic, perfumey aspect that in my opinion makes the Lattafa fragrance more wearable. Starts out like pure Oud almost too strong of an oud for me, like that Hugo Boss Damask Oud yet it is sweeter and the wood feels like it was burned with sugar so it is tolerable and very manly, then quickly moves to a smokey incense smell and then softens down to vanilla perhaps or is it tonka bean, these people are geniuses in the ability to create such an orchestration. It is sweet and creamy-blamy and some might say Arabian kind of sticky and cloying, but the dry down is really everything.
