When gas canisters (which actually contain liquid, not gas) get cold, the liquid sinks to the bottom of the canister. If so, your best bet will be a stove that burns petrol instead, because you can get that every time you fill up your bike. The nature of the burner is totally unrelated to camping stoves, BUT the setup comes with a burner from Germany and requires pierceable gas canisters. I use a Kovea butane gas adapter converter – model Tka-9504 to connect my Kovea Spider remote stove to these.

Which is just as well as Hikin’ Jim at Adventures in Stoving (great site), advises strongly against using such a stove with this adapter. If it has a screw-type lindal connector then it can be connected to a remote stove with no need for an adapter.
