In our iPad 2020 review, we described the Magic Keyboard as "a ‘proper’ typing experience that brings the iPad Pro even closer to a MacBook, and calls into question the degree to which Apple sees the iPad Pro as being distinct from the MacBook range."

But it's a 2 lb accessory and a bit chunky. Biggest negative to me is that it is a Bluetooth accessory, not a Smart Connector accessory. That means you have to be mindful of charging, and probably Bluetooth connection issues.The wireless connectivity of this keyboard is a true convenience. The Bluetooth connection is seamless and reliable, allowing me to connect it to my Mac effortlessly. The absence of cables not only reduces clutter but also provides the freedom to position the keyboard at the most comfortable distance and angle for my workspace. Below these options, you'll find even cheaper options designed to let you type intuitively but without offering anything particularly special on top. They're considerably cheaper, and offer a simple bluetooth keyboard to use with iPad and iPad Pro. The displays have rounded corners. The Magic Keyboard is a family of wireless computer keyboards manufactured by Foxconn under contract for Apple Inc. The keyboards are bundled with the iMac and Mac Pro, and also sold as standalone accessories. They replaced the Apple Wireless Keyboard product line. Each Magic Keyboard model combination has a compact or full-size key layout for a specific region, a function key or Touch ID sensor next to F12, and color scheme variant.
