So I left that lesson and never went back — not really, I suppose, because of the training, but just because I had an unpleasant experience. So really the webinar is looking into the difference between a working dog ready for action, doing waiting but ready for action, and a dog relaxing, because a lot of the working dogs struggle with the relaxation aspect in life. I now understand my dog better and we are building a strong relationship where his choices are beginning to be reliable and thus earning him more freedom to run and vent his energy is useful and manageable behaviours. This book goes beyond the basic obedience training to help the dog to have self control not being under the thumb and not knowing what to do if not micromanaged. I have a young rescued cocker Spaniel and have found this book the most useful of all the books I have read.

WOW this book blew me away its the best book iv ever read (Honestly that's the truth) whether your a trainer or dog owner if you have a dog you need this book ! As I got into dog training, it drove me into being very aware and making the effort that the teaching people, understanding how to communicate and support and help people, is so important if you want to get your dog training method across to people. But again, they all have certain traits, they're all designed to grow those behaviors as they mature. But do you sometimes wish you could reign in some of that enthusiasm and produce the results that you both deserve?
