Nobody asked for those – nobody could have, surely, given they’re about as obscure as Star Wars lore gets –but you already know you need to get them somehow. However, the vibrant purple accents are unique and strongly distinguish Mace Windu's troops, within the Grand Army of the Republic.I heard that the commander's name is Thunder, but I don't remember the source so it may have been someone just imagining a name. I don’t get the argument that the 187th legion was the right choice because they’re unique and different. To make the battles even more intense, two Battle Droids are included, armed with their own blasters.

I don't own a Mace yet but I don't think I need a second tank since I own the one with Aayla Secura. This gift will not only provide hours of entertainment but also encourage creativity and problem-solving skills. The more the better, as there are many things I prefer in those timelines, plus it means acknowledging the history of SW which is a good thing IMO. Nevertheless, I like the stickers because these dark red and lime green highlights continue from elsewhere on the Republic Fighter Tank.Overall this tank is probably the best scaled of the three Lego versions and looks better than the last tiny release. Edit 5/14: After getting the kit in hand and building this MOC in person I slightly updated the interior as it didn't fit a minifig even without a helmet. Unlike the changes between 2011 and 2014 Stormtroopers that are both realistic renditions and could be said to just reflect small shaping details, this mostly animated look is just as bad as when the first animated looks were released in 2008. I like it, it's nice seeing purple on the armor (which weirdly makes the minifigs more valuable to me than being related to Star Wars), and there are some unique parts in the tank. If ever there was a LEGO Star Wars set that illustrated just how difficult it is to truly gauge the theme’s pricing structure, it must be 75342 Republic Fighter Tank.
