Moving on from the comfort and ergonomics of the JTX Sprint-7 Treadmill, let's take a look at its cushioning system. This is an important factor to consider when purchasing any treadmill, as it can have a big impact on your overall running experience. We didn’t test the Sprint 7 with any foot pods but our understanding is that these work well and there are no connection issues. The heart rate zone training is where we focused most of our attention as well as using the Sprint 7 with the excellent Kinomap app – which just adds a whole new dimension to the treadmill. Although the Sprint 3 is pretty basic when it comes to the display and its connectivity options, there is nothing basic about its design or build quality. In fact, this is one of the nicest looking treadmills you will find at this price point (and we have tested plenty) and you won’t find anything that looks (and performs) better for less.

The JTX RunRise, JTX Sprint-5, JTX Sprint-7, JTX Sprint-8 Pro, JTX Sprint-9, JTX Sprint-9 Pro and JTX Club-Pro are all compatible with Kinomap via Bluetooth; the app will receive information on your speed and incline directly from the treadmill. Linking up with the Kinomap app will change the incline of your treadmill for you automatically. Or, you can use a footpod on any of our treadmills, which will measure your cadence too. The SF-T1407 is a compact, lightweight treadmill that’s ideal for users with small spaces. The running surface of 106.68 cm x 33.02 cm makes this model suitable for power walking and light jogging. The SF-T1407 is unique in that it’s not powered by electricity. The treadmill has a slight incline, which helps move the belt as you walk and makes the workout more challenging. Besides, it accommodates people up to 160 kg while the Sprint 5’s max user weight is 140 kg. Overall I can’t recommend this treadmill enough (as with all JLL treadmills from their fitness equipment range) and it’s a solid investment for all running abilities.
