The NZXT Kraken M22 is perhaps the most impressive-looking AIO cooler on the list. Its pump boasts an “infinity RGB” design that honestly looks spectacular. But is this cooler all show and no substance? Arctic has built, thus far, a good product. We need to see how it does long-term, as Enermax has scared us away from firm recommendations on thermals alone. We would recommend the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 as a go-to solution over competing liquid coolers, based on thermal and acoustic performance, although we’d also note that most proven (e.g. Asetek, CoolIT) coolers will perform similarly. If you want RGB LEDs, you’re mostly just paying more for them, but should be in the ballpark for performance. At full price, the EVGA CLC 120 is one to avoid. But a low price often makes it easier to overlook a product’s flaws, and that’s the case here as well. And despite its unremarkable performance with an i7-5930K, the CLC 120 will probably do fine with a lower-powered rig in a small form factor (SFF) or home theater PC (HTPC) build. Overall, the Cooler Master MasterLiquid LC120L RGB V2 is a solid offering. It has some of the best RGB integration in the 120mm AIO space, good performance metrics, and is compatible with most modern machines. Despite this, the warranty is a few years shorter than you’d like to see. All in all, though, there’s a lot to like about this cooler.

All in all, the Corsair Hydro Series H80i v2 is one of the top 120mm AIO coolers on the market. It keeps pace with many larger coolers due to its oversized radiator and hoses. While the price is steep, the Corsair is a great deal and is perfect for someone with a powerful machine but limited space in their tower.That doesn’t mean a 120 mm AIO cooler is entirely irrelevant, however.
