This show was a great blend of light and shade, a mix of toe-tapping, thunder-clapping with soft shoes and butterflies. Such energetic dancing and vibrant sets an enjoyable evening. As the story unfolds, we get some nice female performances from Caroline Gray as heroine Saoirse and Andrea Kwern as bad girl Morrighan the seducer (boo!). With all the visceral precision and thrills of the original, Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games features new staging, new costumes and mesmerising new choreography. The show exceeded expectations. Loved it real feel good show. Only fault was it finished could have watched forever. All cast are amazing Choreographed and directed by Michael Flatley, 40 of the world’s most outstanding young dancers and musicians take to the stage delivering electrifying performances that bring audiences to their feet night after night.

This is my fourth experience of an Irish dance show and was not disappointed. A few little surprises this time, and all in all a very enjoyable show. The show was excellent ... Sheer outstanding skill and energy.... Two hours performance wasn't enough for me, I could had stayed there all night, watching more and more and more and more.......... During the interval, I passed a young girl doing some traditional dance for her mother. Her delight and skill underlined what this show is all about.

Michael: “A couple of things, first of course the night my wife said yes, the night my son was born. Other than that… Being on stage at the Palladium, when the lights go down, when I come on, it is going to be all about that moment. It used to be my dream was to dance in Madison Square Garden in New York, a football stadium, Wembley Arena, and I am delighted I managed to do most of them. Due to unprecedented demand, Flatley is scheduled to make a special appearance from 13 to 24 March at the Dominion Theatre, paving the way for new young superstar James Keegan, who will be performing the lead role of Lord of the Dance. Partly for the sheer sexiness of all that leg action, partly because of the music and the fact it still referenced the dances that many of us learnt at a tender age. After all, he exploded onto the Eurovision dance floor in Dublin in 1996 with his version of traditional dancing that blew everyone away.The only issue I had were 5 ladies who arrived late, sat in front of us and talked throughout much of the show !! Other than that we really enjoyed our O’Connor burst onto UK screens in series three of The Voice and led the original production of Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games when it opened at the Dominion Theatre in 2014. The show did not use the original stage set design but upgraded it to a modern design consisting of seven erect rectangular screens with a set of stairs also acting as screens. New lighting was introduced and aircraft landing lights were used as stage lights to add to the effect. The show also featured updated and redesigned costumes from the original show. My husband and i had already seen Riverdance two years ago in Dublin and thouhgt that was amazing so we were hoping this show would be as good and i can say we were not disappointed, it was just as good. We would recommend to anyone of any age to go and see the she. Well done. Despite the ridiculousness of the whole thing we persevered and sat through the whole two hours in the hope of seeing Michael Flatley, but he did not dance due to last minute changes, of which we had not been informed. Had we known before we would definitely have left at the interval or earlier (as many others around us did).
