Jason had not long completed the rigorous selection process for the Special Forces when September 11, 2001 came along. Anyone who has gone through ptsd or maybe even just anxiety and depression may find some relatable content although an interesting read the book can be quite repetitive at times and I didn’t find it quite the page turner of the ant Middleton books.

Foxy talks to Patrick Hutchinson the personal trainer and children's athletics coach from south London who received worldwide attention after he was photographed carrying an injured counter-protestor to safety during a Black Lives Matter demonstration in central London. The series will kick off next week with the first episode - no spoilers yet, but this is going to be a quality listen. Every time Foxy goes into details about his experiences of war, his projects since, his struggle with PTSD and how he’s helping people through similar situations today, I was gripped. The journey of the book is validating, the voice honest and authentic, the military history neither glorified nor airbrushed.

Inspiring and a proper kick up the backside to go and achieve my purpose, whilst reading this book I have landed a new position and looking forward to my new chapter. Going back to my Special Forces days, you’d speak to senior people who are running the show, and they’d say, “I’d hardly ever have to say anything. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Jason Fox, for this unforgettable, magnificent and utterly inspiring read. When I was briefly involved in corporate culture – full suit and tie, I hated it – you wouldn’t get any feedback. It would have been nice to see if there had been any change in this or amends made, instead of reading ‘my new girlfriend’ or ‘my partner then.Behind every extraordinary adventure is hours, months and even years of planning - not the most glamorous, but well worth the persistence and hard work to get to the start line! Okay, there is a decent book in here somewhere and, perhaps, a decent editor would have helped bring it about. In this 'out of this world' episode Foxy speaks to astronaut Tim Peake about going into space and his incredible experience on the international space station. He is a man who has experienced a lot in life – composing through extreme jobs in his British Army roles as well as a simple guy from England living his own life – Jason has a lot to say.
