This was the first series that I saw a middle eastern character like myself be portrayed so amazingly. I honestly hope this is an unbiased opinion (feel free to discuss in the comments), but from very early in the book, it was obvious to me that she should give Cal a second chance. Cal asked what the other choice was and his dad said he would have to get the forgiveness of his sons and place his shares up for vote like today. When they finally decided to act on their feelings, Cal wasn't at his best moment, everything felt like a mess (except for their love) and things ended up badly.Final Offer is the final book in a series of spicy standalone novels featuring three billionaire brothers. I already knew I was going to love this book and that waiting 11 months for a book by Lauren would be worth it but I never thought I would love it as much as I did. I often find myself getting connected more to characters from book series rather than standalones, simply because I get to spend more time (pages) with them.

The years that passed only brought them closer together, many flashback scenes really proved that (those were little gems in this book). i've always had a hard time relating to male characters in romance books because most of them are not written for us to relate to them.you think being a second chance romance there would be a slight grovelling storyline, but it was giving ✨nothing✨ you would expect lana to make cal suffer before taking him back, but nope, he comes back into her life by swooning his way back in, plays w her kid and she folded like a cheap lawn chair just bc she was horny. After reading Terms and Conditions, I was hopeful that Cal will get a better story, Declan was good but Cal was the charming one. She’s an amazing person, who's willing to sacrifice herself to see the people she loves happy, especially when it comes to her daughter, Cami—who honestly, is a highlight and the star of the book. And although he considers himself an expert on failing, he's so strong and determinated, and way more capable than he gives himself credit for.

Although their memories are obscured by the agony of what happened that night so many years ago, Elliot will come to understand the truth behind Macy’s decade-long silence, and will have to overcome the past and himself to revive her faith in the possibility of an all-consuming love. Besides, I love how Cal made it clear that he wanted to get better not only for Lana and Cami, but for himself—for him to be the man he knows he can be, a man that deserves them. One thing i heavily appreciated was how Lana and Cal’s relationship was about pushing one another towards inevitable happiness.Lana believes in Cal getting sober and Cal wants to go back to rehab but he has to complete his part of the will.

It’s a treacherous road to happily ever after, with grit and depth that makes the story feel even richer.
