American singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers wrote a tribute to O'Connor in Rolling Stone, praising her integrity, [137] and in November 2023, supergroup Boygenius, made up of Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, and Irish group Ye Vagabonds released a cover of the Scottish folk song The Parting Glass as a charity Christmas song and tribute to the late O'Connor.
