Installed a MRA vario today. I had one of these on my Busa, and was always impressed. With the screen down, you get a smooth blast of air. Very little buffeting. I have the "wing" adjusted out. With the screen up, you can ride with your visor open up to three digit speeds... If you consider this topic then combine it with the amount of posts on corrosion happening to very expensive almost new motorcycles Triumph's standards are appalling! especially with the attitude of some of the Triumph dealers. In my opinion Triumph are resting on their laurels, I just hope that someone at Triumph reads the complaints on the forum. In a word, Yes, and if I’m allowed two words, I’ll go with Hell Yes. The standard screen did a reasonable job for me with wind noise, but the buffeting was very tiring. The best description I have for it is being beaten on the left and right sides of your helmet twice a second. With the MRA Vario Screen, the buffeting has now gone. The many adjustment options for angle, length and gap keep the headwind deflected upwards from between the base and upper screen, keeping turbulence to an absolute minimum and the wind away from the helmet and upper body reducing noise and buffeting, improving your comfort and vastly reducing rider fatigue on long journeys.

It's a true all-rounder also effective for removing scratches and scrapes from caravans, motorhome side windows, superficial damage on boat hulls and household objects such as furniture and acrylic baths or washbasins.

Proving that I know nothing about aerodynamics, I thought the slimmer waist on the Tracer 9GT screen would mean more buffeting or wind noise. Thankfully, I’m wrong, and the aerodynamicists at MRA are right. I like the look from the side but the straight on shot from the front..can't say I'm a fan...maybe just the angle? But as long as your happy with it and it works as you want that's all that matters... Just fitted an MRA screen and can recommend them as I was going to sell my bike because of the wind noise, but not now."Given the improvement the older MRA Touring Screen delivers, I’m somewhat puzzled how MRA could have improved it again – other than fixing the handguard issue – when producing the Tracer 9 /9GT specific screen. Love the look's of the z900 rs café even the o.e.m screen as it suits the cafe's style.. but for touring and motorway speeds it's about as much use as having a ashtray fitted so "weighing up" a aftermarket screen but want the best of both worlds.. a screen that's give some more protection but dose not take away the café looking style of the bike. was thinking of the MRA Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe Racer 2018> Double-Bubble/Racing Screen light smoked Grey but have heard that a few have had locating holes slightly out of spec. as anyone fitted the MRA double bubble and had any problems? can anyone recommend the best screen for better wind protection yet still maintain the cafe's style. Either screen is a major step forward, but the Tracer 9GT screen has extra space for the handguards.

It is slightly ironic that an MRA Vario Screen for the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT is waiting on my desk when I return from the 900-mile Coast To Coast ride across the UK. And to my deepest joy, HPS has sent the smoked tint version of the MRA Vario Touring screen.
