Ahora, una cosa que me iba gustando es que, al menos Noah, empieza a darle importancia a su salud mental, a que debe hablar con profesionales para poder superar sus traumas y seguir adelante con su vida y su relación. Lo que me pareció súper cruel y sanguinario fue que Mercedes Ron escogiera precisamente ese tema para meter el plot twist por ahí. Qué fuerte. No digo que esté mal porque, total, hay gente muy mala en el mundo y es una situación que fácilmente se puede dar en la vida real, pero joooooder.

our main character trio consists of rinn, a sweet girly girl who seems to radiate positivity 24/7 but is secretly dealing with anxiety, imogen, a feisty and honest badass who loves poetry and is learning to cope with her depression, and daniela, a bossy tough cookie who keeps her feelings to herself all the time and pours her heart into her writing. in short, they appear to be as different as can be, but are actually more alike than they think. the story begins with the girls disliking each other, but as it progresses, they get to know each other better and eventually form a sisterhood of sorts. this process was so well written and natural, and i loved seeing the three girls slowly warm up to each other and pool their talents together for the sake of the bookstore! Except that the first two thirds (TWO!!! THIRDS!!!!) is just them finding out that the bookstore is failing, so the plot feels super lopsided and almost deus ex machina-y and lame. All in all, it was a great and useful read and I have already recommended it before I finished reading it (which means it really is that good). A book worth buying for sure. The self-compassion strategies alone are worth reading the book, but on top of that you get the understanding of those who were abused (and if you have personally been abused, how to start to heal from that).Three young girls soulfully connect through a crisis, despite being wildly distanced on any other workday. Exercise:1. Imagine that the author is seating where you are. 2. Have a list from previous exercise on the way you were abused at hand 3. Slowly read the list to yourself in silence, notice how you feel while reading the list 4. Now read the list once again, this time out loud, imagine you are talking directly to me, notice how you feel 5. Listen to the passage: I want you to know how sorry I am that you suffered so much and so deeply because of the abused you have experienced. No one should suffer the way you have. I know you felt alone with your suffering, thinking that possibly no one can understand, that no one really cares, but I want you to know as do understand your suffering and I do care. I understand because I am too abused survivor. I also understand for years I have been practicing, I heard thousands of clients telling me about their abusive experience and it gave me a deep understanding how abuse can cause people to suffer. I care because I don’t think anyone should suffer alone. I also know that know I gotta that someone is caring about the suffering, you are not alone. All of the characterization was so telly not showy, which led to really repetitive scenes...Rinn (the good-girl booktuber) is Filming. Daniella (the bad girl) Is Rebellious. Imogen (the crazy (?) girl) Is ???

Write down about what your parents wanted or you and from you-how did they want you to act and why? How did they communicate this? How did it affect you? Imagination is not just the first step, sometimes it is the main step or event it is the entire action! I didn't want to be there naked in front of him, I didn't want him to look at me, he was humiliating me, he was treating me like he had never done in my life, he was hurting me." Overall, an absolute favourite that I'll always be recommending to anyone who wants to read a contemporary that's greatly focused on friendship and feminism while lightly strumming to romance and mystery too.The same goes for Imogen. I loved her as a character. She is really feisty and determined, and she’s super blunt and honest, which I always appreciate in characters. The depression that Imogen is going through is handled really well in my opinion, and her struggles with her mental health really resonated. I think her character arc was also handled amazingly well. The children who have been abused by sexual assault may find themself guilty because: + They have bent the knee in all situations; + They have been too weak to fight; + They have not talked about it with others; + They have accepted the abuser; + They had a good feeling when they have been touched by the abuser.

Write down in the journal what is it feel like receiving someone’s kindness? How does it feel in your body? This was such a wonderfully fun, cute, and touching contemporary story about friends working together to save their bookstore! I had so much fun reading it, laughing aloud at parts, and being really moved at other parts. I absolutely flew through this! Read each flaw out loud and accept it you yourself may I love and accept my flaw exactly as I am. Take a deep breath each time you say the phrase.

También parece que, ahora, llaman "romance" a cualquier cosa. Y que cualquiera que junta líneas y líneas se cree autor. The shameful people live in the unreasonable expectation and defeats loop. In this loop, firstly they cease themselves and then they leave the loop. Before reading this, I had never seen Empire Records, and I felt like this could be a 4.5 star read. Maybe even 5. Then I kept reading, and it kept disappointing me, and it became a generous 3.

Me molestó mucho cuando se le da tanto lugar a este tipo de historias que solo se destacan en la plataforma por su número de lectores, y no por tener una historia sólida y que te vuele la cabeza. Porque sé que en Wattpad tiene que haber alguna joyita escondida que no se le tiene en cuenta, y les dan lugar a estos esperpentos. Then there is Imogen, who starts this story out by shaving her head and is clearly going through some stuff. She has a Middle-Eastern heritage and is queer and while she is not diagnosed within this story, probably has depression. Being narrated through a multiple point-of-view lens, this contemporary beautifully intertwines the lives of three young coworkers on the basis of the vast differences they hold—in terms of ethnicity, mental health, and personality.
