These cardboard slip case versions are first release editions. They come sealed with the PS3 tear strip. It's important to know that these were only made for the first or maybe even the second production, however after a reprint they remove the cardboard case to save cost. The only real difference from regular edition is the cardboard outer sleeve that shines with rainbow colors when looked from different sides. May require visual confirmation. All the editions of this game I have seen have not had a plastic slipcover, although my sources are not exactly 100% as I have only ever seen pre-owned copies of the SteelBook on its own, and only own the box set myself, so can't verify this information. Atlantic Express train maps show Fontaine Futuristics as the last stop. Persephone is no longer marked.

The Audio Diary " The Voice of the Self" found in Dionysus Park is incorrectly named "Truth is in the Body". The original " Truth is in the Body" Audio Diary found in Ryan Amusements is unchanged. Some first person weapon animations appear choppier and seem to be missing a few frames (most noticeable when firing the Pistol). The original bottle caps for Moonbeam Absinthe, Lacas Scotch and Red Ribbon Brandy have all been changed to a yellow cap reading "Root Beer". The lights on the increased damage upgrade for the Machine Gun no longer animate; they remain static instead of changing size and color. The Xbox and PC versions now have more achievements (on the Xbox version two of them are still PlayStation/PC exclusives).
