While similar to Freeview, Freesat was created as a solution for places where standard aerial reception is lacking. To get it, you need an aerial – either one on your roof, or a cheap indoor aerial – and a Freeview tuner – either one built-into your TV, or a set-top box one which also offers recording capabilities.
