It gives a super-fast, accurate reading (about 10 seconds) so you can rest assured that your baby is comfortable in the bath and in bed. The slightly higher price point reflects its dual purpose. Now more than ever, with COVID-19 still a concern, it’s important to be able to tell exactly how hot your child is. But a baby thermometer is also handy for all those ordinary colds and sniffles your baby will no doubt go through.

RapidCool™ makes one feed at a time as it needs cleaning and sterilising between uses. We have designed the RapidCool™ so that you have the flexibility of feed sizes between 90ml-240ml (3oz-8oz) as your baby grows. There are seven measurement markers located inside the flask between 60ml and 240ml. The NHS guidelines state that when preparing a bottle, you should use freshly boiled water, which has been left no longer than 30 minutes so that it remains at a temperature of at least 70°C. With RapidCool™, you pour freshly boiled water into the base along with your formula, but thanks to its patented technology the bottle cools the feed in 2 minutes*. Using freshly boiled water means that any harmful bacteria is killed and the RapidCool™ eliminates the need to run bottles under cold water or use an ice bath to get the feed to the right temperature. The kit contains two RapidCool™ bottles with two digital thermometer lids so you’ve always got one ready to go while the other is being cleaned, as well as an insulated flask to store water and two milk powder dispensers. How does it work? It’s easy-peasy! Just boil fresh water, measure the formula powder, fill the RapidCool™ with hot water, add your formula powder, and mix well, turning it upside down for at least 5 seconds. Then simply wait for the digital display to show a green Nuby logo and dispense the feed into your sterilised baby bottle. A 120ml feed will be ready to serve in only 2 minutes*. Once you have a reading, make a note of it. Some models have the ability to store a few readings, which is handy. If you aren’t sure, wait a couple of minutes and take another reading to compare it. For underarm readings: Clean under your little ones armpit with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before placing the sensor tip of the thermometer under the armpit and gently hold for up to 4 minutes.
