This orange coffee recipe has been served in Vietnam for generations and it is called by many names. You got to trust us on this. This special iced coffee drink is fresh, bright, and bursting with deep rich chocolate flavor. Yes it's not bad. The popularity of instant coffee here does surprise me. When you think how many many thousands of coffee shops have sprung up over the last 15 years or so. Brits have easy access to freshly brewed coffee now, I just assumed tastes would change and instant coffee would become less popular, seemingly not.

If you want to add a little zest to your morning coffee, I have the perfect coffee recipe for you. This delicious orange coffee has real orange zest! Enjoy!

First, cut the vanilla bean in half across the middle (the short way). Then cut one of the halves in half the long way, exposing the tiny seeds inside, giving you the most flavor potential. Before first use and after each use, remove lid and wash with warm soapy water. Rinse and thoroughly dry. Or maybe you would prefer to use your empty coffee cans for organization and storage. There are ideas in here for all of that and so much more. Instant coffee is an entirely different drink to freshly brewed coffee. It's a bit like comparing fresh orange juice to orange squash. And some people prefer squash to the real thing. You don't have to prefer the so-called superior product - each to their own. I like coffee. In fact, I am not sure I could survive a day without it. I like to mix it up with my different fun flavored creamers for different tastes. So, when Seattle’s Best Coffee mailed me the goodies to make Orange Coffee, I was pretty intrigued. Yes, I said ORANGE and Coffee. It doesn’t turn orange, don’t worry 😉 But it does give it a tasteful twist on your favorite brew. I strongly recommend trying a slice of my Orange & Banana Bundt Cake to go with it, it’s a match made in heaven!One thing I'm trying to perfect is cold-brewed coffee, essentially steep the ground coffee in cold water overnight, filter and keep the liquor in a jug in the fridge and use it by adding hot water or milk or reheating it. A much smoother drink than from the hot brewed cafetiere or wotnot, and of course it's essentially home-made "instant"! A blended coffee drink is brewed coffee, usually espresso, processed in a blender with ice and often a myriad of sugary syrups and flavorings. I should say products rather than brands. Nescafé's Azera is light years ahead of the basic Nescafé (original). But of course there's also freeze dried coffee from Douwe Egberts, Cafe Direct or supermarket own brands off the top of my head. First, let's get our terms straight! Cold brew is not the same as iced coffee or a blended coffee drink.
