Repeating this episode is our tribute to her. Okay, I have a lot to say about this one! First of all I have now read quite a few non-fiction educational books about Feminism and I've got to say this has been one of my favourites. It is writen in a way which is accessible, entertaining and informative. Although I do feel as though I am fairly educated on feminism already I definitely learnt some things I didn't know already, and I don't feel like you need any kind of knowledge of Feminism to enjoy this book. I loved it though and should be mandatory reading for all/most feminists in the western world. It's also given me more confidence to get out there and take up space and not apologise and can the whole 'if it's okay, if you don't mind, I know you're busy' shit.

I went into this book not knowing what to expect. In all honesty, I saw this book in the "New release" section in Waterstones, and as soon as I saw the word "Feminist" on the front cover, I thought "Yes Sister! I just HAVE to buy this!" The show has featured guests such as Shappi Khorsandi, [2] Gemma Arterton, [11] Dawn O'Porter, and Aisling Bea. [7] Frances-White aims to create diverse and inclusive panels of guests. [2] Reception [ edit ] Apparently, Deborah Frances-White has a podcast, which I have also never tuned into. I may have to rectify that at some point. This book explores feminism in quite a frank way, but I didn't find all of it engaging. It covers the issues women have to deal with in a male dominated work place, abuse and even sexual issues.
